Overwatch enters closed beta on October 27th

Overwatch will enter closed beta in both Europe and America on the 27th of October. There will be a relatively small pool of players initially, with more players gradually added as there are more features to test. 

"We’re aiming to accomplish two primary goals with our public beta test: First, get tons of top-notch feedback on the gameplay—including balance, feel, and fun—to help us make Overwatch the best team-based shooter on the planet. Second, we want to hammer the heck out of our tech, including stress-testing our server infrastructure and making sure the game runs great on the widest variety of systems possible."

We imagine there are going to be many players left out in the cold, so more waiting since that first cinematic trailer is on the cards. Hopefully it'll be worth that wait.
